FAQ

Which steel grade is used for steel buildings made of ferrous materials?

Framings joint is rigid and of flange type. Some parts of a steel building are connected with high-strength bolts, namely: •columns/beams – S245, •secondary framings – S350, •ties and bands - S255, •flanges – S345, •walls – S255. Depending on the project specifications and requirements from international clients, different steel grades can be used to improve load-bearing capacity of a steel building . All the cold-formed profiles (secondary framing) are made of high-quality steel of the first galvanizing class (with the liquid limit of 350 mPa) Ferrous metal structures are primed (with 1 layer of 40 micron thickness or with 2 layers of 80 micron thickness) to protect the steel building from rust during its transportation and mounting.
