PK VESTA announces its first order for 2 pre-engineered warehouses 18W x 54L x 6H (1 944 sq.m.) in Tbilisi, Georgia
A local construction company from Georgia decided to place an order with the Tula plant for 2 freestanding pre-engineered warehouses 18W x 54L x 6H in Tbilisi. Considering the highly seismic region (9 points), the steel frame was designed based on the latest modern LSGF (galvanized cold-formed profiles) technology, taking into account high-strength steel grades (S390) and metal thickness up to 3.5 mm. All connection elements made out of furious metal in the load-bearing frame undergo mechanized cleaning from corrosion at the Tula plant with subsequent application of premium powder coating (2 layers, approximately 100 microns). This solution together with galvanized profiles provides 100% protection against corrosion for many years, unlike frames made fully out of furious metal, for which it is often necessary to additionally buy expensive anti-corrosion paint.
The lightweight steel frame is covered with non-combustible sandwich panels (walls - 60 mm and roof 80 mm)
The prefabricated warehouses were designed and calculated in the innovative web service WebSteel.
